Contingent
With contingency search you only pay a fee after the chosen candidate is on your payroll. There is no fee to you, the client, if we ever fail to find the skilled professionals you need.
When undertaking such a contingency assignment our consultants conduct a search of our extensive database to find the right candidate for each client. Our approach to sourcing candidates is proactive, ensuring we always have an impressive selection of candidates who are actively looking for a new challenge. Rather than waiting for the best candidates to approach us, we have a dedicated team whose sole function is to attract the strongest candidates within each sector at any given time; we telephone screen each candidate and, if we believe the candidate will add value to our database, one of our consultants subsequently invites them to complete a formal interview.
Typically, a contingency assignment would consist of the following:
- A detailed job description would be taken with the assistance of the recruiting client. At this stage it is imperative that we gather all relevant information however irrelevant it may seem at the time. This will allow us to cross match and identify further suitable candidates for you.
- A detailed search of our database, and the placement of advertisements in the marketplace
- Results from the search provides us with a shortlist of Candidates with the relevant skill sets, knowledge and experience. At this stage we make contact with candidate and begin the process of assessing their suitability for both our client and the role.
- First interviews arranged with the client and candidate.
- Following the interview, we contact both the client and the candidate to see how the initial contact went. Assessing the candidates reaction and more importantly keeping the candidate interested in the opportunity.
- Second interviews are arranged with the client and candidate.
- Offer, acceptance, resignation, counter offer. Throughout this delicate process our consultants will remain close to the candidate in order to offer advice on how to handle this and alleviate any concerns and indeed any unforeseen problems.
- Candidate starts and you, our client, are happy.
